Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct electrical crews on commercial construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide installation processes
- Manage daily site operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with other trades and project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols at all times, promoting a culture of safety on-site
- Oversee quality control measures, inspecting work for adherence to standards and resolving any issues promptly
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar tools for project tracking and documentation
- Monitor project budgets and schedules closely, adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Conduct regular site inspections using tools like ohmmeters to verify electrical system integrity and troubleshoot issues
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising commercial electrical projects with a strong background in construction management and site supervision
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating, and project scheduling
- Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid or equivalent programs
- Strong understanding of contracts, budgeting processes, quality control procedures, and safety regulations (OSHA compliance)
- Hands-on experience reading schematics and using testing equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced construction environment with excellent management skills
- Ability to read construction plans accurately and interpret technical drawings effectively
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members effectively
