- Operating and managing packaging machinery to ensure efficient production
- Inspecting packaged products to ensure conformance to specifications and eliminate faulty product handling
- Adjusting machine components to regulate speeds, pressures, and temperatures, and amounts, dimensions, and flow of materials or ingredients
- Monitoring machine operations and adjusting settings as required to maintain product quality and packaging efficiency
- Performing regular maintenance on packaging machines to ensure optimum work order
- Resolving equipment malfunctions utilizing basic troubleshooting and repair techniques
- Documenting production and operational data on specified forms
- Stocking and sorting product for packaging and filling machine operation, and replenishing packaging supplies
- Assisting in the product changeover process on the production line
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of work areas to comply with health and safety regulations
