Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various finishing trades, including concrete, masonry, carpentry, and surface treatments. This role involves working on diverse projects such as commercial renovations, new construction, and restoration efforts. The Finisher will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications and safety standards. Candidates with experience in blueprint reading, heavy equipment operation, and multiple construction disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Duties

• Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, troweling, and sealing surfaces using hand tools and power tools.
• Install rebar, metal stud framing, and perform masonry work such as bricklaying or stucco application.
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery related to concrete pumping or other construction processes.
• Read schematics and blueprints to accurately execute project plans for framing, roofing, or flooring installation.
• Execute carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, caulking, and drywall finishing.
• Assist with demolition, renovation, or restoration projects by applying appropriate techniques for each task.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete surface preparation, installation, or finishing work.
• Perform heavy lifting as required while maintaining safety protocols on-site.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on concrete finishing, masonry, carpentry, or related trades.
• Mechanical knowledge of construction tools and equipment including mixers, saws, drills, and welding apparatus.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and commercial driving is a plus.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or working at heights if necessary.
• Prior experience with renovation projects or restoration work is preferred.
