Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and Book Keeper / Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and managing office and administrative duties. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial concepts to support our organization's financial health.
Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform account reconciliation including bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare journal entries and manage the general ledger accounting.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and ensure all financial reports are accurate and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant regulations.
- Manage payroll processing and related tax experience.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks similar tools for efficient record keeping.
- Provide support for all corporate accounting such as Payables, Receivables, Credit Card Reconciliations, and other accounting related tasks and processes.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or issues in financial data.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field with a strong understanding of financial concepts.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks is highly desirable).
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and practices is essential.
- Familiarity with full cycle bookkeeping, intracompany financial transactions, and account reconciliation processes.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience with budgeting and financial report writing is a plus.
- Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks.
