Position Details
Residential Workers are essential to promoting the safety, stability, and overall well-being of individuals diagnosed with mental illness living in a community residential rehabilitation (CRR) setting. They provide direct care and support, addressing both mental and physical health needs, while actively participating in the treatment planning process as part of a collaborative care team.
- Assist in developing and implementing activities and other special projects designed to increase skills in independent and community living, socialization/leisure time.
- Build on strengths to promote positive growth for the consumer.
- Engage consumers in appropriate life skills to develop abilities to live as independently as possible.
- Accompany consumers on trips outside the facilities for treatment medical or any other appropriate reasons.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must have an active and unrestricted driver's license.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Mental health experience preferred.
