Position Details:
The Psychiatric Technician II ensures the safety and well-being of residents in the Residential Program, with a focus on therapy and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead psycho-educational groups to foster peer interaction, problem-solving, and treatment goal achievement.
- Assist residents in building life skills for independent living.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all reporting requirements.
- Support residents with household tasks and teach essential daily living skills (e.g., hygiene, time management).
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
- Contribute to a therapeutic environment that encourages personal growth, with opportunities for advancement within the program.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Social Work/Criminal Justice/related human services field required.
- Minimum one year experience in the mental health field required.
- Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles.
- All Clearances required by OMHSAS.
- Valid Driver's License required.
