We are seeking Lead Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team at our programs in Redding, CA.
Position Details
Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) interact and support our individuals in a variety of potential settings and provide a level of care that enhances the health, safety, dignity, and contentment of every individual served by assisting and training them in the areas of personal care, communication, and social skill development.
COMPENSATION:
- Earn $22.00/hour.
Note: We provide professional development training, support, and resources to help you obtain your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Upon certification, you’ll receive a $2/hour pay increase= $24.00/hour.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a verifiable High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, with a focus on behavioral services
Certification Requirements:
Merakey will provide access to the necessary training and support to help employees meet these requirements. These must be completed by:
- DSP 1 and DSP 2 Certification – Required within 12 months of hire.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification – Required within 60 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dual Diagnose experience is a PLUS!
