We are seeking a Director of Programs to join our team in our Chambersburg, PA location.
- The Director of Programs at Merakey will provide comprehensive operational oversight of a community of homes.
- Directly, manages, maintains, and monitors all aspects of residential and community-based services.
- Supervises team members to ensure compliance with specific program models and maintains alignment with Merakey’s mission.
- Ensure financial accountability and viability of the programs, supporting program managers with household budgeting.
- Develops, administers, and monitors budgets to achieve established financial goals.
- Participates in the development and evaluation of individual service plans.
- Oversees the quality of services provided, participating in Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) efforts.
- Provides direct training to staff in compliance with program and Merakey requirements.
- Works with program managers to ensure staff are in compliance with all necessary training.
- Resolve conflicts and problems within the program, with outside agencies, and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence and compliance to program best practices, Merakey policies, and regulations from state, local, federal, and accreditation organizations.
- Provides on-call availability and flexibility to ensure staffing and program needs are addressed after regular business hours.
- Supports Program Managers with HR related issues to include, employee hiring, discipline, and discharge.
- Coordinates and provides assistance with the preparation for site visits and audits.
- Conducts environmental checks to ensure health and safety of individuals we support and employees.
- Facilitates and/or participates in meetings with team members, families, and other stakeholders.
