As a Clinical Supervisor at Merakey at our Drug and Alcohol Program in Philadelphia, you’ll help shape a team dedicated to empowering individuals on their path to healing, growth, and lasting change.
Responsibilities include:
Staff Management
- Hire, train, and staff to meet program needs; coach supervisors on interviewing
- Provide ongoing staff guidance, mentoring, and feedback
- Complete evaluations; manage promotions and terminations
- Lead union-related processes for terminations and major violations
- Oversee supervisor handling of lower-level issues (attendance, performance)
- Step in for supervisor duties when needed
- Model and reinforce Merakey Core Values
- Promote a collaborative team environment
- Approve staff timecards
Program Administration
- Provide weekly supervision and bi-weekly team meetings
- Support staff professional and licensure development
- Attend assigned meetings
- Assist with evidence-based practices
- Handle administrative tasks (incident reports, case reviews, complaints)
Earn $32.16 per hour.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in a generally recognized clinical discipline. Preferred to be registered, licensed, or certified to practice if applicable.
Work Experience:
- 2 years of mental health experience, paid or unpaid
- Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system
- Supervisory experience
