House Cleaner / Vacation Rental Cleaner – Sarasota & Siesta Key
Mer Maid Cleaning Services of Sarasota is looking for dependable, detail-oriented cleaners to join our growing team.
We specialize in vacation rental turnovers, Airbnb properties and residential homes throughout Sarasota and Siesta Key. We are looking for people who take pride in their work, are dependable and understand that preparing a vacation rental is about more than simply cleaning — it is about making the entire property look welcoming and guest-ready.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities may include:
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
- Dust and wipe surfaces
- Clean mirrors, glass doors and other high-touch areas
- Change and remake beds
- Wash, dry and replace towels and linens when required
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Check refrigerators and remove items when instructed
- Straighten furniture, pillows, chairs and décor
- Organize and visually reset the property for arriving guests
- Check for stains, damage, missing supplies or maintenance concerns
- Take photos and report issues when required
- Perform a final walk-through before leaving

- Able to notice and report problems rather than simply working around them
- Available for daytime vacation-rental turnovers
- Available for some weekend work
- Experienced with residential, hotel, Airbnb or vacation-rental cleaning preferred
Reliable transportation is required.

Schedule
Most vacation-rental turnovers occur during daytime hours between guest checkout and check-in.
Availability during weekdays and weekends is especially valuable.

Service Area: Sarasota, Siesta Key and surrounding Sarasota County areas
