Job Description
MEP Supply, a company dedicated to providing high-quality electrical, mechanical, and plumbing materials for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, is looking for a Commercial Store Manager to lead our retail operations.
The Store Manager will oversee daily store operations, ensure an excellent customer experience, drive sales performance, and manage the team, inventory, and commercial processes of the store.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Commercial Management
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Implement commercial strategies to attract new clients and increase customer retention.
- Provide basic technical guidance to customers on MEP products (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, specialized hardware).
Store Operations
- Supervise the daily operations of the store, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with commercial policies, customer service standards, and administrative procedures.
- Guarantee proper product display, stock rotation, and availability.
Inventory Management
- Control stock levels, manage purchase orders, and coordinate receiving processes, stock counts, and adjustments.
- Identify high-rotation products and suggest improvements in purchasing and replenishment.
Team Management
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales and customer service team.
- Coordinate schedules, roles, performance reviews, and continuous training.
Customer & Vendor Relations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
- Collaborate with suppliers for promotions, technical information, and team training.
RequirementsEducation & Experience
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or related fields (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in store management or supervisory roles.
- Experience in technical sales or industries such as hardware, construction, MEP, HVAC, or electrical supplies (highly valued).
Technical Competencies
- General knowledge of MEP materials: pipes, fittings, cables, breakers, pumps, ducts, accessories, tools, etc.
- Experience with inventory systems and POS software.
- Ability to analyze sales indicators and commercial performance metrics.
