- Monday to Friday: 8-hour
- Saturday: 4-hour shift
Position Summary
MEP Supply is seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead the daily operations of our Fort Myers branch. The Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales, customer service, inventory management, warehouse operations, and team performance while ensuring the branch achieves its operational and financial objectives.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong business acumen, experience in the construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or industrial supply industry, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all branch operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales growth and branch performance goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, vendors, suppliers, and customers.
- Supervise, coach, and develop branch personnel, fostering a positive and high-performance culture.
- Monitor inventory levels, purchasing activities, and stock accuracy to ensure product availability.
- Oversee warehouse operations, receiving, shipping, and delivery processes.
- Review branch financial performance, including sales, margins, expenses, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with corporate leadership to implement strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in distribution, wholesale supply, construction materials, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, industrial products, or a related industry.
- Proven leadership experience managing sales and operations teams.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations, and customer service.
- Experience managing budgets, branch performance metrics, and financial results.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management systems (ERP experience preferred).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Requirements
- Bilingual: English and Spanish (required)
- Previous experience in MEP materials and equipment supply (HVAC, electrical, or plumbing) is required. (required)
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service (preferred)
