Role Overview
Provides respiratory care utilizing critical thinking skills as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). responsible for assessing patients, developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans, administering medications, and delivering health education to patients and families. Acts as a clinical resource and provides leadership in patient care, contributing to healthcare improvement initiatives and supporting lifelong learning. Completes assigned goals and performs additional duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills
- Current state license and RRT credential from the NBRC
- Recent clinical respiratory care experience, preferably in hospital settings
- Educational background with an AAS or BS in Respiratory Therapy from a CoARC-accredited program
- Successfully completed hospital and departmental orientation
- Proficient in computer literacy, particularly Windows and Microsoft Office
- Certifications including BLS; ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Administer prescribed medications and provide health education
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and provide clinical leadership
- Participate in quality improvement activities and support continuous learning
- Perform other assigned duties to ensure optimal patient outcomes
