Key Responsibilities
- Conducts appropriate patient assessments based on medical conditions
- Administers medications as prescribed with knowledge of their use
- Delivers age-appropriate care and supports basic self-care activities
- Develops and evaluates patient and family education plans
- Performs treatments and nursing services using clinical knowledge
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
- Assists physicians with procedures and technical tasks
- Addresses psychosocial needs and communicates with social services for discharge planning
- Practices cost-effective resource utilization
- Prioritizes patient safety and minimizes harm
- Engages in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Computer literacy
- RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire
- Preferred: ACLS/PALS certifications
