Registered Nurse (RN) - Nurse Supervisor Full-Time Night Shift

Role Overview

This position involves supervising nursing staff, coordinating resident care, and ensuring compliance with care standards within a long-term care setting. The role includes assigning duties, supporting teamwork, conducting resident rounds, and assessing care needs. It requires managing staff performance, promoting accountability, and facilitating resident and family education. The role also entails participating in quality improvement activities, handling crisis situations professionally, and maintaining a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign and support staff to deliver timely, quality resident care
• Assess residents, review and update care plans, and implement nursing interventions
• Complete documentation, including shift reports and care plan updates
• Participate in team meetings and quality assurance activities
• Handle emergencies and resolve staff or resident concerns appropriately
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
• Coordinate activities across the facility to ensure smooth operations
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license in the relevant state
• 2 years of supervisory experience in long-term care preferred
• 3-5 years of nursing experience, strong communication, and organizational skills
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and transfer residents safely
• Proficiency in documentation, safety procedures, and crisis management
