- Providing ongoing education to patients and families, involving them in care planning, and documenting care provided.
- Maintaining effective communication with physicians, ancillary services, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Upholding professional nursing standards and delegating tasks appropriately.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (A.D.N. or diploma).
- Ability to obtain licensure in Alaska.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer software and understanding of government healthcare standards.
- Commitment to quality patient care and customer service principles.
- Frequent standing, bending, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
