Per Diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Role Overview: Provides anesthesia care in the operating room supporting surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under supervision. Conducts preoperative evaluations and postoperative follow-up, acting as a patient advocate and liaison between patients, families, and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Anesthetizes patients, selects drugs, and monitors anesthesia levels.
• Adjusts medications based on patient response and monitors vital signs and equipment.
• Communicates patient status with surgical team and assesses hemodynamic and equipment data.
• Performs preoperative evaluations, organises OR with necessary equipment and drugs, and ensures a safe surgical environment.
• Responds to emergencies, maintains airway patency, and charts accurately in EMR.
• Transports patients safely, provides anesthesia support, and serves as a mentor and preceptor for staff and students.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills: Master's Degree in Nursing is required. Must possess strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills to ensure patient safety and effective anesthesia management.
