Dental Assistant, Orthodontic

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant, Ortho, to join our friendly dental team in Tacoma, WA. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support during orthodontic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficient practice operations.

• Assist the orthodontist with patient examinations, procedures, and appliance placements/removals.
• Prepare treatment areas, sterilize instruments, and ensure all equipment is ready for procedures.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care, appliance maintenance, and post-treatment instructions.
• Record patient information accurately and update dental records in the practice management system.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to safety and health regulations.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient correspondence.
  
  

Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Knowledge of orthodontic terminology and procedures is preferred.
