Product Packager

Menzner Hardwoods Company is seeking long-term career employees interested in product packaging to work at our Wausau location.

Duties may include:

• Checks order list for products required and obtains products from storage racks.
• Assembles products into bundles using plastic wrap and particle board as necessary.
• Bands bundles using banding equipment. Moves finished bundles and/or carts to shipping area.
• Assists with other shipping related duties as directed by supervisor and other duties as required.

Qualifications: Candidates must be 18 years old, have basic computer skills/ attention to detail / accuracy/ physically capable of lifting / maneuvering up to 30 lbs. regularly, be capable of standing for 8 hours shift/ work well with coworkers in a team environment, and have solid work tenure in prior employment.

First Shift Hours: 6:30am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday. Second Shift Hours: 2:30pm - 10:30pm, Monday - Friday. Shifts include a paid break and paid lunch. Overtime hours are required as needs arise, which typically involve working 9 hour shifts during the week, and an occasional 6 hour shift on Saturdays. Second shift has a $0.75 shift premium pay.
