About the Position
As Assistant/Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring mentor matches thrive, building community connections, and elevating our impact through outreach and program messaging.
Key Details
- Schedule: 20-26 hours/week (M–F availability between 7:30 am – 4:00 pm); limited evenings, weekends, and summer hours
- Term: One-year grant-funded; limited-term employment contract (August 2025-June 2026)
- Work Site: Chippewa Falls, WI, with travel to partner school sites
- Reports to: Program Director

What You’ll Do
- Mentor Relations and Match Support
- Mentee Relations and Scholarship Coordination
- Support with Grants and Fundraising Activities
- Marketing, Media, and Outreach Support
- Additional duties that make our small but mighty nonprofit thrive
Who You Are
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Believes every young person has potential and deserves support to succeed
- A clear, compassionate communicator who relates well to both youth and adults
- Creative and organized, with strong follow-through
- Curious and eager to grow, comfortable trying new tech tools and taking initiative
- Have basic computer knowledge and the ability to use basic office equipment
- Reliable and flexible, with dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Bonus if you have
- 2 or 4 year degree or working towards a degree in a related field
- Experience or training in working with youth, working with volunteers, mentoring, nonprofits, marketing, or related fields
- Social media and outreach experience (Canva, Google Workspace, or Instagram/Facebook)
- Lived experience or an understanding of working with individuals from underserved backgrounds
- A combination of training, lived experience, work experience, and relevant skills will be considered
