This position coordinates youth and community engagement initiatives for youth/teens, adults and older adults, with programming at the Mentis Wellness Campus and throughout the Napa County community.

This is an ideal opportunity for a professional who has moved beyond entry-level work and is seeking a coordinator-level role with increased responsibility, direct support to the Senior Prevention and Early Intervention Program Manager, and clear opportunity to thrive within a mission-driven organization. The right candidate will be comfortable operating with independence while functioning as a strategic partner to the Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Coordination and Management (65%)

  • Support Council members with monthly meetings and events, and leading initiatives such as wellness clubs, peer support efforts, and community education campaigns.
  • Manage Teens Connect social media presence in collaboration with the Communications and Marketing Specialist: create, schedule, and post engaging content to promote events, highlight teen achievements, share mental health resources, and increase youth audience engagement.

Older Adult Programming

  • Coordinate older adult support groups in partnership with community organizations.
  • Support the development of intergenerational programming that connects youth with older adults (Bridging the Years).
  • Develop and implement new programming based on community needs, feedback, and emerging mental health trends.

  • Assist with onboarding new prevention staff and occasionally facilitate internal trainings for prevention team.
  • Maintain personnel tracking logs, including training completions, certification renewals, and compliance deadlines.
  • Serve as liaison between teen leadership council, community partners, and senior management: prepare summary updates for the manager regarding youth concerns, program feedback, and emerging needs.
  • Serve as a mentor and go-to resource for team members: be available for smaller concerns, day-to-day challenges, and problems to work through, providing guidance and support before escalating to the manager.
