Job Description :
Nestl Product Technology Center Meals & Drinks develops new products, processes, and packaging concepts in the areas of meals and Drinks for infants, toddlers, and young children.
And provides technical assistance on production and engineering to our factories all over the world.
Position Summary
As a quality Specialist, you will support the Category Mastership strategy by ensuring that our internal documents provide valuable guidance for the Nestl Product Technology Centre Fremont.
A Day in the Life of Quality Specialist
Supports the local NDC Quality Team, which may include :
o Support in development of local HACCPs and quality requirements.
o Support in Raw Material Risk Assessment updates
o Follows and upholds all Nestle & applicable regulatory requirements to assure full compliance and audit readiness.
o Other duties as assigned.
What will make you successful
Bachelor's degree in food science or equivalent (Microbiology, Engineering)
2-3 years' experience in Operations in food industry
Developed HACCP knowledge
HACCP / PCQI Certification required
Developed ability to communicate efficiently internally and externally
Strong investigation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
High level of detail accuracy
Fluent in English
Experience in project management with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals within given timeline
