We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Mental Health Professionals to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine mental health needs.
- Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to ensure patient safety during acute episodes.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that include psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, addiction counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, and gender issues counseling.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate case management and ensure continuity of care across outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical documentation and accurate medical records while managing medical terminology effectively.
- Engage in clinical research activities and data collection to support ongoing program development and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field; licensure or certification as required by state law.
- Proven experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics or patients with chronic pain conditions.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health treatments including behavioral therapy, psychopharmacology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and medical documentation standards.
- Experience in crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management techniques, and social work practices.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and outpatient clinic operations is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct intake assessments effectively.
