Social Services Therapist
*Must be licensed in the State of Ohio*
LSW/LPC/IMFT

FT, 40 Hours per Week
Some holidays and weekends required
Pay range is $52,000-$60,000 and based on experience.
LISW/LPCC/IMFT receive 5% on top of base pay
- Responsible for social work programming and quality on the Acute Care Unit.
- Works closely with Director of Nursing in providing therapeutic programming for Acute Care Clients. Oversees social work programming to assure that the most productive treatments are offered.
- Provides and oversees diagnostic assessments. Makes recommendations about patient’s treatment needs based on screening and diagnostic assessment. Oversees social work programming to assure that the most productive treatments are offered.
- Employs a variety of treatment modalities including individual, group, and family therapy. Psychotherapeutic techniques and modalities are appropriately matched for clinical needs.
Education/Experience
- Master’s Degree in social services/social work/counseling
- 3-5 Years’ experience in mental or behavioral health, preferably inpatient/acute care
Licensure/Certifications
- Licensed as a Social Worker, Counselor or Marriage Family Therapist (LSW/LPC/MFT) in the State of Ohio
- LISW/LPCC/IMFT Preferred with supervision designation
- NVCI
- CPR(BLS)/First Aid
MHS provides CPR/First Aid and NVCI (CPI Blue) for all new staff, along with on-going education and on-the-job training opportunities.
All MHS candidates are required to have an Ohio BCI check (FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years, or for working with children) and a 5-panel drug screen upon conditional offer of employment. Residential candidates require a 2-step TB up offer of employment.
Salary : $52,000 - $60,000
