As a Residential Assistant, you will:
Serve as a mentor and role model, supporting residents with daily living skills, problem-solving, and community integration
Teach activities of daily living such as cooking, personal care, and communication
Respond to emergencies, maintain safety, and keep the home environment clean and welcoming
Plan and lead meaningful activities that align with residents’ interests and goals
Assist with household operations and maintenance, ensuring safe and healthy living spaces
Empower residents through the recovery model, focusing on growth, resilience, and self-direction
Document services accurately and communicate effectively with case managers and supervisors
Provide supervision, reinforce positive behaviors, and respond to crises as needed
Support residents with medication self-administration in accordance with MHK policies
We’re seeking individuals who are calm under pressure, empathetic, and committed to supporting others in reaching their potential.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma. Training and supervision will be provided.
