Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Social Workers (LSW), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LAC), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), and Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (LAMFT) to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your primary focus will be delivering evidence-based psychotherapy, conducting diagnostic evaluations, and developing personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments, weekly therapy sessions and treatment planning for individuals across various age groups and backgrounds
- Document all clinical encounters accurately within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Engage in case management activities such as patient education, discharge planning, and community resource linkage
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding systems (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical records management
Skills
- Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and crisis management
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations using standardized tools
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards for medical documentation and records management
- Excellent communication skills for engaging patients in intake processes
- Experience working with EMR systems for documentation and data collection; familiarity with clinical research practices is advantageous
- Ability to handle crisis situations effectively while demonstrating empathy and professionalism
