RN Weekender - Medical Pulmonary Unit - Nights

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Pulmonary Unit, working night shifts in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive patient assessments, coordinating care plans, and ensuring safe, timely interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues in person, via phone, and in writing.
• Educate patients and families based on thorough assessments to meet specific learning needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
