- Assist with departmental management, including operational oversight and report generation for management review.
- Train new staff and develop current team members' skills and competencies.
- Monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to maintain proper functionality.
- Evaluate specimen acceptability and perform routine and complex technical procedures.
- Associate's degree in Chemical, Biological sciences, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Laboratory Technologist or Technician.
- Proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
- ASCP and/or AMT certifications are preferred.
- Leadership or supervisory experience of 2 years is preferred.
