- Assess call situations to determine appropriate action using advanced protocols.
- Provide medical care utilizing equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to offer reassurance and information.
- Act as team leader when needed, managing scene and unit operations.
- Drive ambulances during emergency responses.
- Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Oregon State Paramedic License and valid Driver’s License.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS.
- Completion of ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 courses.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a physical agility test.
- Relevant healthcare experience preferred.
