Preferred Licensure
- LPC or ALC
- LCSW or LMSW
- LMFT or LMFT-A
- Therapists expected to achieve full licensure within six months are encouraged to apply
- Video games, anime, comics, literature, movies, or geek culture
- Children, adolescents, teens, and/or adults
- Couples and families
- Trauma and PTSD
- Substance use
- School-based mental health
- Community resources and insurance-based care
- Complete diagnostic assessments and individualized treatment plans
- Provide high-quality, client-centered therapy
- Use creative therapeutic interventions
- Incorporate client interests into therapy when appropriate
- Maintain 27 sessions per week for full-time clinicians
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Coordinate care with families, providers, schools, and community supports
- Participate in meetings, supervision, consultation, and training
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field
- Active Alabama licensure or associate-level registration
- 2 years of clinical therapy experience preferred
- Experience with assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation
- Strong communication skills and professional boundaries
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Familiarity with EHR systems, insurance services, and community resources
