What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Clerk position at Mental Health America Dutchess County?
DUTIES: The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for ensuring timely payment for all invoices for the MHA Programs. In addition, the AP Clerk will work closely with the Service Dollar program to ensure spending is accurately tracked to ensure spending is within the program budget. These responsibilities are set forth below.
I. Accounts Payable
· Ensures timely payment for all MHA Programs
· Prepares weekly or daily payments for service dollars as requested.
· Maintains vendor files including 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC statements.
· Investigates outstanding checks and processes voids and repayments as necessary.
· Reconciles General Operating, ACT and Service Dollars bank statements and/or makes bank deposits.
II. OTHER
· Prepares monthly schedule of supported housing payments
· Follows-up with Care Managers and supervisors regarding necessary documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· HS Diploma and Business Experience or College Business Degree
· Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Office preferred.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
