Director/House Manager-Menorah Park Group Home

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Director/House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Group Home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OPWDD healthcare management. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure that all processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of care and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee four (4) residential units ensuring regulatory compliance
• Provide direct nursing care and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities, including medication administration and health monitoring.
• Staff scheduling for 24 hour home
• Coordination of medical services
• Assess patient's health status and develop individualized plans of nursing services.
• Monitor and document patient's condition and response to medications and treatments.
• Educate staff, individuals and their families about health maintenance and prevention.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• 7-10 years experience working with NYS OPWDD rules and regulations required
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities required
• Valid NYS Driver's License.
• Able to pass an extensive background check
• Ability to sit, stand, and lift 50 lbs.
