As a Maple Crest Support Aide, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment for our residents. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with food preparation and baking.
- Performing housekeeping duties.
- Serve as a back up to Elder Assistants when unexpected care needs arise.
- Supporting the Life Enrichment team through program preparation.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Willingness to work overnight shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in a similar role is helpful but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently.
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and assist with mobility needs if required.
