Full-Time Surgical Dental Assistant – Periodontics
We are a busy periodontal practice located in the heart of downtown Menlo Park, seeking a personable and motivated Dental Surgical Assistant to join our dedicated surgical team as we are growing. This is a full-time, in-person role offering a rewarding opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Position Overview:
As a Surgical Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our doctors during procedures and patient visits. While experience in periodontics or oral surgery is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a desire to learn.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist periodontists during surgical procedures
- Scribe detailed notes during exams and post-operative visits
- Sterilize and prepare instruments and treatment rooms
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Support front office operations as needed
- Utilize computer systems effectively with accurate and quick typing skills
Qualifications preferred:
- RDA License or X-ray license (preferred, but willing to train right candidate)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical setting
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Full-time only (40 hours/week)
