Requirements:
- Ensure food orders are accurately prepared and delivered promptly to members and guests.
- Communicate clearly and decisively with kitchen staff, servers, and, occasionally, customers to ensure flawless timing and flow of food and beverage service.
- Inspect dishes for accuracy, appearance, and uniformity before they are served.
- Monitor kitchen operations to ensure orders are cooked and prepared correctly.
- Address member and guest complaints, troubleshoot issues, and provide practical solutions.
- Stay informed about menu items, daily specials, and promotions to assist with service.
- Maintain adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Keep service areas clean and free of hazards, including broken glass, water, or debris.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Food Expeditor in food and beverage service, or a relevant background.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and take initiative to ensure a high-quality member experience.
- Understanding of culinary techniques and the ability to recognize high-quality dishes.
- Strong interpersonal skills to resolve issues and manage challenging interactions with guests.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with strong formal communication skills.
- Food Handler's Permit is a plus
- Experience with Club Essentials or a POS system.
- Member Experience Focused
- Private Club experience is a plus
- Must be able to work standing and constant walking for a minimum period of 8 hours per day.
- Periodical bending, kneeling, and stretching are required.
- Pull, push, move, carry, and lift at least 35 pounds of force is required.
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands.
