Food Expeditor - Full Time

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences? Join Menlo Circus Club, a private club in Atherton, CA, as a Food Expeditor! This role is vital to maintaining seamless communication between our kitchen and dining space, ensuring a high member experience.

Starting $24.00 includes gratuity. Full-time, full health benefits, time off, free meals. Pay depends on experience.

Requirements:

• Ensure food orders are accurately prepared and delivered promptly to members and guests.
• Communicate clearly and decisively with kitchen staff, servers, and, occasionally, customers to ensure flawless timing and flow of food and beverage service.
• Inspect dishes for accuracy, appearance, and uniformity before they are served.
• Monitor kitchen operations to ensure orders are cooked and prepared correctly.
• Address member and guest complaints, troubleshoot issues, and provide practical solutions.
• Stay informed about menu items, daily specials, and promotions to assist with service.
• Maintain adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Keep service areas clean and free of hazards, including broken glass, water, or debris.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Food Expeditor in food and beverage service, or a relevant background.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and take initiative to ensure a high-quality member experience.
• Understanding of culinary techniques and the ability to recognize high-quality dishes.
• Strong interpersonal skills to resolve issues and manage challenging interactions with guests.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with strong formal communication skills.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Food Handler's Permit is a plus
• Experience with Club Essentials or a POS system.
• Member Experience Focused
• Private Club experience is a plus
  
  

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to work standing and constant walking for a minimum period of 8 hours per day.
• Periodical bending, kneeling, and stretching are required.
• Pull, push, move, carry, and lift at least 35 pounds of force is required.
• Must be able to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands.
  
  

Must have the ability to work in the United States unrestricted.
