3rd Shift Maintenance Technician – Electrical Experience Required
Location: Sterling, IL
Schedule: 3rd Shift (Full-Time) *Starting Sunday night*

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our 1st shift team. In this role, you will support all areas of the plant by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolving breakdowns to keep operations running smoothly. Electrical experience is a must and PLC knowledge is preferred.
What You’ll Do:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on plant equipment, machinery, and facilities.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Fabricate, weld, and machine minor parts for on-the-spot or emergency repairs.
- Work with high-voltage systems, including 3-phase 480V & 240V, single-phase 240V & 120V, and 24 VDC controls.
- Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring equipment issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work area.
- Be available for occasional off-hours emergency calls.
What We’re Looking For:
- Electrical experience (required).
- PLC knowledge (preferred).
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- At least 2 years of facility/equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with fixed automation, welding (MIG/TIG), and high-voltage testing equipment.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills.
Education & Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Certificates in electrical or mechanical systems required; Associate degree or formal technical training preferred.
