Job Summary:
Meneses Law is an Immigration Law Firm seeking an experienced Director of Information Technology to lead our technology department. We seek someone with a strong background who will oversee the firm’s technology strategy, infrastructure, and IT operations. This role ensures that technology systems support business goals, maintain security and reliability, and drive innovation.
Essential Responsibilities:
- IT Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement the firm's IT strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead and manage the IT department, including system administrators, network engineers, developers, and support staff.
- Advise executive leadership on technology trends and opportunities.
- Establish IT policies, procedures, and standards.
- Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Oversee IT infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud systems, and data centers.
- Ensure systems availability, performance, and scalability.
- Manage enterprise software, hardware, and business applications.
- Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Implement cybersecurity strategies to protect company data and systems.
- Monitor security threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response plans.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and security standards.
- Project Management
- Lead technology implementation projects such as ERP, CRM, cloud migration, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners.
- Budgeting & Vendor Management
- Develop and manage the IT budget.
- Evaluate and select technology vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and manage service level agreements (SLAs).
- Team Development
- Promote continuous learning and professional development.
- Establish performance goals and conduct evaluations
- Perform any other tasks or functions deemed necessary to the daily operations of the employer.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking and cybersecurity
- Champion in managing large IT projects and enterprise systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant data tools.
- Excellent time management skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Able to type 45 WPM or more.

Education and Experience:

- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Physical Demands:
- This position involves regular walking, standing sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking.

- May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time.
- Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
