We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Technician to join our automotive service team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Conduct maintenance and repair work on GM vehicles, including but not limited to engine repairs, transmission work, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively to ensure accurate assessments and repairs.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for vehicle repairs or modifications.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations for vehicle maintenance.
- Collaborate with service technicians to streamline processes and enhance overall service efficiency.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians in areas such as automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Master Technician or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and diesel engine repair.
- Proficiency in vehicle maintenance practices and auto estimating processes.
- Ability to effectively use hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are preferred.
