THIS IS A SUMMER POSITION, EMPLOYMENT IS SEASONAL AND TEMPORARY
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Extended School Year (ESY) is a Special Education program for students with disabilities whose IEP Team has determined that, in order to minimize substantial regression and reduce substantial recoupment time, a student is required to attend ESY.
Programming will run Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 12:00pm from June 22, 2026 - August 6, 2026. No ESY the week of June 29, 2026 - July 3, 2026. Applicants must be available for all 6 weeks of the program.
Seeking Special Education Teachers/Reading Specialist and Substitute Teachers to provide direct instruction to students enrolled in the district's ESY summer program and report on progress.
Qualifications:
--Certified as required for individual positions
--Qualified applicants with previous experience working with students with disabilities.
--Safety Care trained a plus
