Mendon Community Schools is now accepting applications for Professional School Bus Drivers.
Position Overview
This critical role ensures safe student transportation across multiple scheduling options. Selected candidates will be responsible for executing standard daily routes before and after school hours. Additional opportunities include managing Career Technical Education (CTE) routes and providing transit for athletic events.
Key Qualifications
- Driving Record: Applicants must maintain a clean, verifiable driving history.
- Drug Testing: A pre-employment as well as ongoing, random drug screens are absolute requirements.
- Licensing: Possession of a current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a School Bus (S) endorsement is highly preferred.
Paid Training Program
Candidates without a current CDL are encouraged to apply. Mendon Community Schools provides comprehensive, fully funded licensing training. This paid training program requires a signed two-year employment driving agreement upon enrollment.
