Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel equipment and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to lighting, appliances, locks, furniture, and fixtures
- Maintain hot tubs and spa equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and inventory
- Collaborate with housekeeping and innkeepers to resolve issues efficiently
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- 2 years of experience in general maintenance, preferably in hospitality or commercial buildings
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions (indoors/outdoors, heights, confined spaces)
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Comfortable with completing projects through a digital task list
Preferred Skills
- Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS)
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
