What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Specialist position at Mending Minds Behavioral Health Services?
Mending Minds Behavioral Health Services is looking to add a passionate team member to assist in transporting consumers to and from services and activities throughout Kenosha, Kenosha County, and Racine, Wisconsin. Candidates must be willing to work a minimum of 10 hours per week but up to 20, pass background checks, have a valid drivers license, and have an excellent driving record. Hours are split throughout a day when transportation services are needed to and from office to participants homes, or in the community. Pay is stipend per trip completed and will discuss this at interview. This is a contract position (1099) and candidate is required to maintain and provide proof of full coverage auto insurance, access to vehicle that is clean and in excellent working condition. Transportation Specialist will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, preferably experience working with special needs individuals, some technology skills, and be flexible on scheduling. Must be able to document each transport completed in a data system. Training is provided. Our programs are growing, so this position could evolve into more hours and opportunities.
