Job Summary: The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for proactively identifying staffing needs, coordinating schedules, and strategically assigning Menders by Lenbrook caregivers to ensure seamless client coverage in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Monitors staffing to address staffing needs as they arise.
- Tracks and verifies all employee hours, overtime, and call-outs daily.
- Ability to rearrange staff schedules so that staffing needs are met whenever possible.
- Contacts current staff to fill-in for vacancies or call-outs on schedules.
- Provide CNA coverage on emergency basis until caregiver can be scheduled.
- Continuously analyzes facility schedules to review open shifts.
- Schedules and coordinates on-call staff to meet emergency staffing needs.
- Performs daily staffing analysis by comparing actual hours worked.
- Consult with staff concerning the staffing/scheduling needs to reduce/eliminate problems.
- Answer employee calls regarding staffing/scheduling functions.
- Prepare written correspondence as necessary.
- Communicates staffing issues to the Nurse Manager or Executive Director.
- Coordinate and disseminate scheduling reports.
- Monitor caregivers schedule to limit overtime.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:
- High school diploma (or GED equivalent) required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field preferred.
- Active Georgia CNA Certification required.
- Active TB, CPR & First Aid Certification required.
Physical Requirements:
- Performance of physical work will include, but is not limited to, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, standing, sitting, carrying, stooping, and reaching.
- Moving tables and chairs on an as-needed basis.
- Must be able to exert 20 pounds of force on a frequent basis and 50 pounds of force on an occasional basis.
