Duties
- Operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to manufacture parts as per engineering drawings.
- Set up and adjust machine tools for optimal performance and precision.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to ensure product specifications are met.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Assemble components as needed and ensure proper tooling is utilized throughout the machining process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery.
- Experience with welding techniques is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and tooling applications.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
