Job Overview
As an Area Manager for Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, you will oversee operations for our two St. George, Utah locations. You’ll be the key leader responsible for team performance, profitability, and day-to-day execution. This is a hands-on leadership role designed for a motivated professional who can balance operational excellence with strategic growth. Your leadership will create an upbeat, guest-focused culture while ensuring both stores meet performance targets and brand standards.
What you’ll do
- Lead, train, and inspire store teams to achieve sales, labor, and profitability goals.
- Oversee all daily operations, including scheduling, ordering, and vendor relations.
- Monitor and control labor and COGS percentages to maintain EBITDA targets.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards for cleanliness, product quality, and service.
- Manage staffing plans, performance feedback, and retention initiatives.
- Partner with ownership to develop and execute improvement plans.
- Foster a positive, collaborative environment built on accountability and team success.
Basic qualifications
- 3 years of restaurant, retail, or food service management experience.
- Proven track record in labor and cost control with P&L accountability.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, delegate, and coach team members.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between stores (10 minutes apart).
Preferred qualifications
- Experience managing multiple locations or departments.
- Familiarity with Menchie’s or other self-serve frozen dessert concepts.
- Skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and operational reporting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to recruit and retain high-performing teams.

Our benefits include:
- Base Pay: $48,000 annually, with increase to $52,000 after 90 days upon meeting KPI goals.
- Performance Bonus: Up to $20,000 annually (quarterly payouts begin after 6 months).
- Retention Bonus: Up to $5,000 annually after four years of continuous service.
- Phone Allowance: $50/month (non-taxable reimbursement).
- 401(k): Eligible after 1 year; rollover allowed immediately.
- PTO: 15 days annually with increases after years 2 and 4 (use-it-or-lose-it calendar year).
- Work Schedule: 5 days per week (typically includes one weekend day) with two consistent days off. On call as needed.
Total potential annual value: ≈ $77,600 with full KPI and retention bonuses achieved.
