As the area’s largest family-owned music retailer, we’re proud to offer high-quality music instruction in a welcoming, organized, and supportive studio environment.
We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic and dependable cello instructor to join our team at our Hanover studio. This is a great opportunity for a teacher who enjoys building strong student relationships, creating engaging lessons, and being part of a music-centered community that truly values education.
Availability Needed
One weeknight from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM or one recurring 4-hour block on Saturdays

Requirements
Qualifications:
- A strong musical background demonstrated by at least 2 years of college-level music training, 5 years of teaching or professional performance experience, or an equivalent combination
- A bachelor’s degree in music education, performance, or a related field is preferred; candidates currently working toward a degree are also encouraged to apply
- Experience working with a variety of learners of all ages and skill levels is preferred
- Ability to successfully complete an initial background check, as well as recurring background checks every three years as a condition of employment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional and timely email communication
- Confidence and effectiveness in delivering one-on-one instruction
- Excellent organization and time management
- Comfortability using a digital scheduling system
- Warm, energetic, and professional presence that reflects our culture and mission
- Patience, flexibility, and the ability to connect with students of all ages and skill levels
