Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Climbing Arborist role located in Knoxville Tennese and will be responsible for performing tree pruning, trimming, and removals, climbing trees in various conditions, safely operating equipment, and identifying tree species and their health conditions. They will also adhere to safety protocols, assist the ground crew with equipment, and maintain a professional approach when interacting with clients.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Forestry and Arboriculture practices
- Proficiency in Tree Identification and understanding of tree health and care
- Certified Arborist credentials or equivalent experience
- Ability to work at heights and utilize climbing techniques and tools
- Familiarity with the safe use of chainsaws, pruning tools, and other arborist equipment
- Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and compliance
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform labor-intensive tasks outdoors
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in arboriculture are a plus
- Experience in tree care services is highly preferred
