About The Opportunity
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk coordinates daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure accurate, timely movement of materials. This role prepares documentation, verifies shipments, and collaborates with production and carriers to meet delivery schedules. The position also monitors inventory and shipment status while resolving discrepancies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Core hours will be 11:00am-7:00pm. Hours may vary.
Essential Functions
- Communicate shipment instructions with internal staff, drivers, and carriers to ensure efficient operations
- Coordinate and execute shipping schedules, including dispatching local freight
- Prepare shipping documentation; arrange transportation with carriers
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against orders, bills of lading, and inventory records
- Partner with operations/production teams to align product readiness with shipping timelines
- Track, log, and manage inventory and shipment status to ensure on-time delivery
- Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for quality and accuracy; resolve discrepancies, damages, or shortages
- Coordinate yard movements and support logistics reporting, issue resolution, and compliance activities All other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ mobile equipment experience in a warehouse or shipping environment
- Mobile equipment certification (or ability to obtain)
- Familiarity with LOTO procedures
- Intermediate computer skills for data entry and system navigation SAP experience a plus

- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours) during the work shift.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 55 pounds independently and up to 75 pounds with assistance
- Ability to climb steps, stairs, ladders and mounting/dismounting mobile equipment
- Ability to frequently bend, twist, squat, kneel, reach, pull and push
