What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Industrial Mechanic position at Menard, Inc Career Center?
POSITION SUMMARY:
This working position maintains equipment and machinery throughout the Belgrade Fixtures Plants, and other areas as assigned by the Plant Manager.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform scheduled preventative Maintenance on all equipment
- Mechanical and electrical diagnosis and repair of equipment
- Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair
- Support the installation of new equipment
- Welding and light metal fabrication to facilitate repairs/improvements
- Ensure strict adherence by self, other authorized lockout/tagout team members, and affected team members, to all aspects of lockout/tagout procedures
- Ensure a safe working environment for team members by assisting in the development of safety programs and enforcing team member compliance with safety rules
