Menadier Engineering, LLC is seeking a Florida Licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) to join our growing team in Alachua, Florida.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated professional who can coordinate, draft, review, sign, and seal surveying deliverables. This role is ideal for someone who is already established in the industry, has a strong book of business, and is interested in long-term growth with a company that is expanding quickly.
Position Overview:
The PSM will be responsible for managing surveying projects from start to finish, including coordination, drafting, quality control, client communication, and signing and sealing final survey deliverables in accordance with Florida standards.
This is a hands-on role. The selected candidate must be able to perform the drafting work directly, not only oversee it.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate survey projects from start to finish
- Perform drafting for survey deliverables
- Prepare and review boundary surveys, topographic surveys, as-builts, construction staking documents, sketches, legal descriptions, and related survey documents
- Review field data and ensure accuracy before final deliverables are issued
- Sign and seal survey deliverables as required
- Communicate with clients, contractors, agencies, and internal team members
- Provide professional guidance to field crews and support staff
- Ensure all survey work complies with Florida statutes, rules, and professional standards
- Assist with scheduling, project planning, scope review, and quality control
- Support business development efforts and help expand the company’s surveying client base
Qualifications:
- Must be a Licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida
- Must be able to draft survey deliverables directly
- Strong knowledge of Florida surveying standards and requirements
- Experience with boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, as-builts, sketches, legal descriptions, and mapping
- Strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience preferred
- Ability to coordinate field crews and manage project workflow
- Excellent communication, organization, and client management skills
- Existing book of business strongly preferred
- Leadership mindset and interest in long-term growth
